Your support matters.
According to an Afterschool Alliance study, every $1 invested in afterschool programs saves $3 by increasing kids’ earning potential, improving kids’ performance at school and reducing crime and welfare costs. Nationally, afterschool programs save companies between $50-$300 billion in healthcare and lost job productivity each year.
Over 92% of SOAR Families have reported that access to SOAR has provided them with job security, such as getting the job or shifts they need to support their families. SOAR students attend school at a higher rate than their peers and have fewer gaps in enrollment.
When you give, SOAR students and families thrive.
Meet SOAR’s best cheerleader,
Heather White
A member of the house of Altruismo, Heather played numerous vital roles at SOAR, including Grace Hill Daily Admin, Bus Driving, HR Support, and most recently, serving as the SOAR Board President. Her dedication as a volunteer, visionary spirit, and consistent generosity with her time and resources defined her. The legacy fund aims to support scholarships for SOAR Amazing Shake finalists, which will help them to attend college; many of whom will be first-generation university students. Your support in honoring Heather's profound impact on SOAR and the wider community is deeply appreciated.
